A Resting Angel

A life cut short too soon
An empty bed and quiet room
Even though we are torn apart
You will always be in our hearts

We've shared a lifetime of joy and pain
But there is one thing that is the same
A daughter, sister, confidant and aunt
Bringing a smile when others can't

You have passed on to a better place
Certainly one that you can't hate
We love and will miss you dearly
Rest in peace, with love your family

An Angel In The Window

A presence I can sometimes feel
Tender warmness can it be real
A journey that has ceased in time
A tear drop falls for you sister of mine

Not one of sorrow and sadness
But of pure and utter gladness
That you are free from a life of pain
Our bitter lost is your wonderous gain

As you pass thru the lightned gateway
Please spare a loving glance our way
It would surely brighten everyone's day

It's time to pass onto the beauty thats there
Arms wrapped around of the angels that care
So blessed by the Supreme Goddess
Who lights the morning sun
This journey has come to an end
But your enlightnment has begun
