What are some good conversation topics when you are chatting with your friends online?

OH I got this. I was going to bring them here before I was klined but oh well.

My friends get together alot and talk about a few things, Sometimes we talk about language, Sometimes we talk about coding.

Personally my favorite topics are Gaming and Movies. Gaming meaning we talk about old (sometimes new) Computer games that involved a variaty of things, Mostly one of my friends is obsessed with starcraft and constantly links us to the Korean Pro tournament videos whenever their streaming live.
Otherwise we did start a movie of the day club, We all watch the same movie and at random points throughout the day we discuss it! We even coded a bot to keep all the links in case anyone wanted to catch up, Or in case we were bored and wanted a random movie. It turned into a movie of the week club after a while though, Scheduling difficulties.
