I was wondering if anyone had opinions about this.

I notice alot of time, When im sad a sad song will come on (even on radios/random playlists) and when I'm happy a happy song will come one.

Has anyone else felt this?

And do you think it would be the music forming the mood, or the mood forming the music! I mean I find it VERY suspicious!

Also: Anyone else have amazingly varied music tastes?

I was listening to classical gangsta violine rap (think dueling banjos/ the devil went down to georgia with violines with some rap lines mixed in). And suddenly now im obssessed with sitar's/arabic music. (Cmon I love the voices, Wish I could still do that!)

So this thread I created for a random music discussion, I love music and currently support a huge and varried library of it! Mostly people hear it and go "eeew" But you have to really give every song a chance! I wouldnt have thought I'd be listening to techno arabic pop. >.>

Well I love anything from rock, punk and jazz, to Persian and Balkan traditional stuff, that's pretty wide, not much into rap or country though

Its good to have many different tastes in music, Too many people are into just one genre and completely block out anything else.

Music is very much a mood manipulator and has the same properties of nicotine, minus the hazardous effects meaning it can elevate you or send you crashing down. I noticed the same thing man. Sad mood, sad song playing...happy mood, happy song playing. And yes I think it's not only good to have a wide array of listening preferences, but also vital in being an open-minded person. I enjoy different music for different occasions and moods.

I like this kid. Yes it's important to be open minded rather than conform to a stereotype

ROWDY!!!! Bro its nice to see you again, How ya been ya crazy mf ;/

Differing music styles is the only thing that should be acceptable, The "top 40" list today is filled with the same ol shit thats been permiating the air for years now, Andwhile I find it enjoyable it seems to be the ONLY thing people want to listen to, If I through in some ambeon or Black violin people get disgusted and flame me. Get off the celeb kick and go back to when bands used to do it for the MUSIC not the MONEY.
