It seems life is easy when you get hit
Everywhere you look there is nowhere to sit
Wanting to take time to refleck the past
Is that all to much to ask?
Past hurts and hates that seem so strong
Never really hang around for that long
Thinking with a clear and pure heart
Every dawn is a brand new start
While watching your children at play
Remembering how special it was that day
The first shy glances exchanged
Neither knowing wether to look away
The sweet tender touches at first
To the passionate embraces
The miracle of giving life to a being
The togetherness of family seeing
A wonderful world with pure meaning
Though nothing can ever prepare them
For the cruel and unforgiving force
That happens when age takes its course
The bittersweet farewell of love ones
Who's time on earth is done
Cherishing the memories days gone past
Loving them will always last
In years to come it never changes
The cycle of life begins again
Every year is all but the same
The gift of words are the same
As that from the soul they came
Honest and caring and kindness true
